This guide walks through creating an email signature in Microsoft Outlook on macOS using the app's Settings. You'll open the Signatures preferences and add your signature details so they can be applied to outgoing messages.
- In the Outlook mail window, click the "New" button in the top-left of the toolbar to start composing.
- In the macOS menu bar, click the "Outlook" menu in the top-left corner.
- From the "Outlook" menu, select "Settings..." to open the preferences window.
- In the Settings window, click the "Signatures" icon in the Email section.
- In the Signatures editor, click the signature name field and enter a name for the signature (for example, "Mac").
- Click into the signature content area and type your signature text, including your email address (for example, "[email protected]").
- Finish entering your signature details, such as the email address line (for example, "[email protected]"), then close the Signatures window to save.
