Step-by-step instructions
This SOP walks you through scheduling a new Teams meeting from the Microsoft Teams calendar on macOS. You'll create an event, add attendees, set the date and time, and save the invite.
- In the left sidebar of Microsoft Teams, click "Calendar".
- In the top-right of the calendar, click the "New" button to create a new event.
- In the "Title" field at the top of the new event, type a name for your meeting (for example, "StepGrabFlow").
- Click the "Invite required attendees" field to start adding people to the meeting.
- Type an attendee's name to search, then select the correct person from the results list.
- Click the date and time row (for example, "Fri 12.06.2026 23:00 - 23:30") to open the date and time options.
- In the expanded date and time panel, set the meeting's start and end times. Leave "Recurring" off for a single meeting, or enable it to repeat the event.
- Click the "Start date" field to open the calendar, then select the meeting date (for example, 19 June 2026).
- Click the "Save" button in the top-right to save the meeting and send the invite.
